Redeemable NFTs in commerce (NFT.London)
I participated in a panel discussion at the NFT.London event in 2022 about the potential use of "redeemable NFTs" in commerce. We discussed how these types of NFTs could be used in ecommerce and some examples of their potential use. We also talked about how redeemable NFTs may relate to the concept of a "phygital" (physical + digital) world and the metaverse.

NFT use cases (UTXO22, Czech)
I recently participated in a discussion about the future of non-fungible tokens (NFTs) at UTXO.22, during which we emphasized the importance of viewing NFTs as a tool for creating, tracking, and interacting with data on the blockchain, rather than just a temporary trend centered on "proof-of-provenance" and crypto art. We also noted that there is still a lot of untapped potential for NFTs when it comes to their potential use as a utility.

The Divergents

Fintech competition with Twisto
I have organised the first PwC consulting competition in the Czech Republic jointly with Twisto, a Czech fintech startup. The focus was on the expansion strategy of Twisto to foreign markets with over 120 applicants and 50 finalists. A big part of this was discussing their strategy with C-level executives of Twisto and partners from PwC to gain their insights. I supervised a team of 12 people from HR to marketing. The biggest value for me was knowing that I helped the winners progress in their career by landing jobs in Twisto and Enern (VC).

SIA Mentoring
I had an opportunity via PwC Czech Republic to mentor a startup No F-ears in an accelerator programme. They created an app helping deaf individuals to communicate in hard situations such as a doctor visit. It does so through a suggestive text-to-speech feature and other useful functions assisting them in overcoming potential barriers. It has been an interesting experience sharing with them learnings and insights from my professional life, motivating them but also providing criticism at times. I am proud to say that No F-ears won the Social Impact Award 2019.
